PESHAWAR: Famous Pashtu singer Ghazala Javed was killed by unidentified gunmen yesterday, on Tuesday.

Ghazala’s father was also shot dead in the incident.


According to reports, Ghazala along with her father was on her way home in Dabgari area when some unidentified armed men opened indiscriminate fire on her vehicle.


As a result, both father and daughter were killed on the spot.


The police shifted the bodies to Lady Reading Hospital for post-mortem and registered a case against the unidentified killers.


The family of Ghazal blamed her ex husband for the killing.

Almighty God has blessed us with so many virtues. Some people are blessed with beauty, and some with power and strength. Some individuals are blessed with knowledge and intelligence. Ghazala was a treasure of beauty and voice. When some one becomes famous he/she becomes public property. When this phenomenon occurs , husband or wife become increasingly possessive and extremely jealous. Another aspect of such events is that one who get famous cannot handle success and cross limits, which ultimately result in unpleasant incidents succh as this one.. I dont know Ghazala .but on face book she was a pretty face with different name and identity. may God bless her soul

Indeed a big loss for pashto music. Rest in peace. Very beautiful and talented singer. Dont know where this world is going. Very sad day for her fans. She was loved by millions around the world. We will miss her sweet voice. Rest in peace.

Singing is strickly prohibited in our Religion (Islam) and Muhammad(P.B.U.H) said that i came to demolish/Distroy the Instruments of Music, and Ms. Ghazala was a Singer, in this regard we can,t say about the said.in this regard please see the Ahadis .

Sahih Bukhari, Book 69, Number 494B:
"Narrated By Abu 'Amir or Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari : That he heard the Prophet saying, "From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful. And there will be some people who will stay near the side of a mountain and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, 'Return to us tomorrow.' Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection."
Ibn Majah, Volune 5 Hadith No.4020:
"The Messenger (pbuh) of Allah (SWT) said, "Some people of my Ummah will drink wine, calling it by other than its real name, merriment will be made for them through the playing of musical instruments and the singing of lady singers. Allah will cleave the earth under them and turn others into monkeys and swines.

First of all may God bless her soul in garden of paradise. She was queen of beauty, treasure of melodious voice around great pakhtoon nation area. She was innocent her killing situation prove that. she was matchless in beauty and voice.there is no one to compare with her. poet says: wakhta bairta rasha yaw sandar ghary wo zegawa, ya kho Ghazala ya Rabia wo zegawa, che nang di watan wokry dasi yaw afghana wo zegawa.

All of you are right at your own aspects but please when some one die so dont say bad against him say some thing good for him at even though she was muslim and also ALLAH knows better then us.she done bad things okay but she did not hurt others ALLAH will not forgive the sins of other humans , for sin of Allah it upon him either forgive or not . also she was shaheed because some other person killed her and so she is shaheed also we know that the person take her sins on his shoulder while shoting her dead.

Actually Ziyad Durrain was also killed on the spot with Ghazala and her father in Dabgari Gardens. It has baeen confirmed that Ziyad Durrani was trying to shift her to UAE . and some days earlier, Ziyad had travelled abroad for making arrangements. On that very day when the incidence of her murder took place, Ziyad was accompanying them. The sister of Ghazala was crying and saying" Hi, Ziyad hum Mur shoo." Actually he was also shot dead on the spot . But his body was taken away from the scene and afte three days the rumour spread that Ziyad died of Hear Attack

[5:29] I would desire that you be laden with my sin and with your own sin, and thus become among the inmates of the Fire. That indeed is the right recompense of the wrong-doers."
