University of Sargodha  
University of Sargodha is located in one of the most arrdacious cities of the country, declared as City of Eagles. University of Sargodha is established In 2002, Government College was upgraded into a University.

Air University  
Air University is a Federally Chartered Public Sector University established in 2002 and has been recognized by Higher Education Commission. Air University, Islamabad has established spacious and well equipped campus located in the foot of the Margalla hills with a very conducive and disciplined environment for learning.

Allama Iqbal Open University  
Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) is the first Open University in Asia. AIOU is a unique institution in Pakistan because of its philosophy, system, approach, functions and overall structure. The University with its main campus at Islamabad and huge network of regional centers spread all over the country is serving its clientele all over Pakistan and in the Middle East. AIOU is a Distance Education institution, which provides multi disciplinary education from basic to doctoral level programs. 


COMSATS Institute of Information Technology  
The COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT), which received its Charter from the Federal Government in August 2000, as a Degree Awarding Institute (DAI) in the public sector. COMSATS Institute of Information Technology currently has six campuses in Islamabad, Lahore, Wah, Abbottabad, Attock, and Sahiwal, while one more campus is coming up at Gujrat. the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has ranked the CIIT at number 7 in terms of research productivity and at number 8 among the Engineering institutions of higher education in the country during 2006.

Federal Urdu University of Arts, Sciences and Technology  
Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology was established by a presidential ordinance on Nov. 13, 2002. Upgrading two existing colleges, Federal Urdu Science College and Federal Urdu College at Karachi. It consists of three campuses: Abdul Haq Campus, Gulshan Campus , Islamabad Campus .

Foundation University  
The Foundation University, Islamabad (FUI) has been established as a private sector university. It is sponsored by the Fauji Foundation, which is the largest welfare organisation in the country having vast human and financial resources. The Foundation University has been established as a centre of excellence to provide quality education of international standards to the talented students.

Institute of Space Technology

International Islamic University  
The foundation of the Islamic University , Islamabad was laid on the first day of the fifteenth century Hijrah i.e. Muharram 1, 1401 (November 11,1980). This landmark of the beginning of the new Century symbolizes the aspirations and hopes of the Muslim Ummah for an Islamic renaissance. The University is located around the domineering Faisal Mosque, a symbol of International Islamic brotherhood and unity. The Mosque is spread over an area of 189,705 square meters.

National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences  
The Foundation for Advancement of Science and Technology (FAST) was established in 1980, as a private national institution. The Foundation is registered with the Central Board of Revenue, Government of Pakistan, as a charitable institution. National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Islamabad establishment of the university is a major step forward in the technological progress of the country


National University of Modern Languages  
The University began as an institute in 1970 to help people communicate and understand each other in different languages, to assimilate different cultures and to act as a springboard. Located in the South West of the beautiful capital of Pakistan, Islamabad, in the backdrop of beautiful Margalla Hills.

Quaid-i-Azam University  
The University was founded in 1965 as a national institution for higher learning and research and named University of Islamabad. The University was renamed Quaid-i-Azam University in 1976 at the time of centenary celebrations of the Founder of Pakistan. graduates receive acceptance in universities and research institutions the world over. Quaid-i-Azam University has established research collaboration with selected universities in the United States, Europe and South Asia.

National University of Science and Technology  
National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) was established by the Government of Pakistan in 1991 for the promotion of higher scientific education in the country, especially in the field of sciences and technology. Visits of eminent professors from reputed foreign universities of UK, USA, Australia, Japan, Singapore, China and Canada to NUST is a regular feature of immense significance.

Bahauddin Zakariya University  
Bahauddin Zakariya University is located at a distance of 10 km from the city centre. The University Campus is spread over 960 acres of land. The Bahauddin Zakariya University is a general University, providing instruction in both Arts and Science subjects.

Fatima Jinnah Women University  
Fatima Jinnah Women University is named in commemoration of the contributions made by "Madr-e-Millat" to the cause of women emancipation. Fatima Jinnah Women University is a symbol of the commitment of the nation to women's education.

Karakurum International University,Gilgit  
Karakurum International University,Gilgit was established in 2002 by a charter from the Federal Government on the orders of President Pervez Musharraf.The University is situated against a dramatic backdrop of steep mountains at the confluence of the Gilgit and Hunza rivers.

Government College University  
The Journey of GC University Faisalabad started in 1897 as a Municipal Middle School. it was housed in the building of the present Govt. College for Women Karkhana Bazar, Faisalabad. It became Intermediate College in 1924 and Degree College in October 1933 and a Postgraduate College in 1963.

Institute of Management Sciences  
The Institute of Management Sciences is a project of Al-Karim Educational Foundation established in Lahore in 1986 as The Pak-American Institute of Management Sciences (Pak-AIMS) with undergraduate and graduate programs in Management and Computer Sciences.

Islamia University  
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur has always been a seat of higher learning. Uch Sharif (a nearby ancient town) had one of the largest universities in the world where scholars from all over the world used to come for studies. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur has designed its matrix to become Enterprise University for developing partnership with indigenous labour market and local community to improve economic growth and regeneration of social wealth.

King Edward Medical University  
King Edward Medical University was placed before the Imperial Government in 1857, but shelved because of 'War of Independence' but established as a Medical School in 1860. Being the Head of King Edward Medical College and now King Edward Medical University.

Lahore University of Management Sciences  
The Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) is a national university, established by sponsors belonging to the country’s leading private and public sector corporations. The goal of the sponsors is to develop an institution, which would provide rigorous academic and intellectual training and a viable alternative to education comparable to leading universities across the world.

National Textile University  
The National Textile University dates back to 1954, when the Government of Punjab joined hands with the leading textile industrialists to form an institute of Textile Technology in Faisalabad .It is the hub of textile, hosiery, chemicals, oil, sugar, manufacturing and host of other industries.

University of Engineering & Technology  
University of Engineering & Technology traditions of research in the engineering and allied disciplines has been a major goal of the University. University of Health Sciences  
University of Health Sciences is located in Lahore; it is the capital of the province of Punjab and the second largest city of Pakistan. University regulates and co-ordinates all the activities of medical education and health research throughout the country. University of Health Sciences is the only institution offering specialization in medical, dental, nursing, bio-medical engineering and paramedic education .

University of the Punjab

Virtual University of Pakistan  
The Virtual University, Pakistan’s first University based completely on modern Information and Communication Technologies. Virtual University of Pakistan Uses free-to-air satellite television broadcasts and the Internet. The University opened its virtual doors in 2002 and in a short span of time its outreach has reached over sixty cities of the country with more than a hundred associated institutions providing infrastructure support to the students. Dawood College of Engineering & Technology  
Dawood College of Engineering and Technology, Karachi is a Federal Degree Awarding Institution. The foundation stone of the college was laid by President of Pakistan (Late) Field Marshal Muhammad Ayub Khan in 1962. The institution was established by Dawood Foundation as Dawood College of Engineering and Technology.
