PESHAWAR:
Education is the best mean to promote an egalitarian society,
especially to convince and persuade youngsters to prove they are good
citizens, said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Barrister Masood Kausar while
was addressing the 8th Convocation of Sarhad University of Science and
Technology Peshawar on Wednesday.
He said institutions like Sarhad University of Science and Technology
should share the responsibilities of the government to promote
education in tribal areas. In all, out of 1,900 students, five scholars
got M.Phil degrees, one thousand students got masters and 800 achieved
bachelor degrees while amongst them thirty got gold medals.
